Red dead redemption 2 ps4 not downloading

I had a similar issue on xbox. Sekiro, and only Sekiro, refused to install from disc. I ended up old school trouble shooting and undoing everything I'd done on my console,one by one, until it worked. The problem? The blu ray player app! It was glitched and would try to read my disc as a BD. Who tf knows. Some update broke it probably. My point is that it isnt just installed games but apps too that could be doing it. Hope you figured it out weeks ago though, so frustrating!
